WELCOME TO THE ASEAN JOURNAL OF LIFE SCIENCES (AJLS)

The Asean Journal of Life Sciences (AJLS) is a peer-reviewed journal and dedicated to publishing and disseminating original articles in all areas of Biology and Life Sciences. The emphasis will be on publishing very quick quality research papers that would be freely available to researchers worldwide. It is an open-access journal, which publishes original research articles, reviews and short communication. The scopes of the journal include, but are not limited to the following topic areas: Biology, Life Science, Anatomy, Botany, Cytology, Genetics, Microbiology, Physiology, Zoology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Hydrobiology, Neurobiology, Developmental Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Biotechnology, Biomedical, pharmacology, Agriculture, Fisheries, Aquaculture, Pharmacy, Plant Sciences, Virology, Toxicology, Immunology, Genomics, Proteomics and Bioinformatics.

 

TYPES OF RESEARCH PAPERS:

ORIGINAL ARTICLES 
Original articles should contain an Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion and References. The article should describe new and confirmed findings The experimental methods should be explained in sufficient detail for others to understand the work. No exact page number is determined, but it is required to describe and interpret the work clearly.

SHORT COMMUNICATIONS
Short communication should contain a maximum of two (2) results or findings (presented in figures or/and tables) . The presentation of Short Communications should contain headings such as Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.

REVIEW ARTICLES 
Submissions of review articles and perspectives covering topics of current interest are welcome and encouraged.

INDEXING
We are working on the indexing of the journal.

ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGES
Currently, AJLS does not charge any cost for processing. Open access publishing allows all interested readers to view and download any article without a subscription. This will enable greater distribution of an author's work than the traditional subscription-based publishing model. Many authors have begun to realize the benefits that open access publishing provides in terms of an impact on their work.
